L’estate è arrivata e nelle borse di cuochi e camerieri inizia a farsi spazio un fedelissimo alleato: L’INTEGRATORE DI SALI MINERALI!
Ma perchè d’estate tutti o quasi si armano di polveri e pasticche effervescenti? L’associazione sudo tanto/perdo sali minerali/ho bisogno di reintegrarli è di solito la prima ad essere enunciata.

Per prima cosa quindi è bene informarsi sul proprio stato di salute, considerando la semplicità (un prelievo di sangue) e il basso costo dell’operazione.

Bere acqua minerale. Ebbene si, perchè bevendo 2 litri di acqua minerale si può addirittura sopperire il fabbisogno giornaliero di uno o più minerali, senza l’uso di alcun integratore che spesso fa la fortuna di chi li vende più di chi li assume.
Bisogna fare attenzione innanzitutto che l’acqua comprata sia MINERALE e non OLIGOMINERALE. La differenza sta proprio nella presenza di sali minerali, ovvero quel RESIDUO FISSO A 180° che trovate sull’etichetta. Se l’acqua è oligominerale il valore sarà compreso tra 50 e 500 mg/L, se invece l’acqua è minerale allora il residuo sarà stimato tra i 500 e i 1500 mg/L.
L’acqua oligominerale aiuta soprattutto la diuresi e anche ad eliminare sali in eccesso, mentre le acque minerali (o addirittura ricca di sali minerali, cioè quelle con valori superiori ai 1500 mg/L) riescono a integrarle.
Su cosa assumere per compensare una vostra accertata carenza di sali minerali, lasciamo ovviamente a voi la scelta che più ritenete giusta e anche pratica.
Per quanto remota come ipotesi però, ci teniamo a ricordare che anche un eccesso di sali può essere nociva quanto la loro perdita. Assumendo un integratore completo senza conoscere il nostro quadro clinico potremmo anche incorrere in casi come l’iperpotassemia la cui conseguenza più pericolosa è l’aritmia cardiaca.
